# Rules

## <mark style="color:green;">Part 1: Your profile</mark>

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article A: Profile Pictures</mark>

* Your profile picture must not reference obscene content or politics.
* Profile pictures must not be offensive toward any individual or group of individuals.
* It is forbidden to display personal photographs of another user
* No blank profile picture.
* No inappropriate profile picture.
* No sexually explicit profile picture.
* No offensive profile pictures

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: Usernames</mark>

* Your username must not reference a historical or political figure.
* Usernames must start with a character available on the AZERTY keyboard in order to be mentionable.
* Displaying a player's personal and private information in your username is prohibited.
* No empty usernames.
* No inappropriate usernames.
* No sexually explicit usernames.
* No offensive usernames.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Statuses & Descriptions</mark>

* Your status and description must not reference politics or incite hatred.
* Links leading to scams are prohibited in your descriptions.
* Any disrespect toward any person will be sanctioned.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: Banners</mark>

* Banners must not contain any sexual, gory, shocking or offensive content.
* No political, religious, extremist or hate-inciting images.
* It is forbidden to use someone else's personal images without consent.
* No promotion of products, services or external servers.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article E: Badges, pronouns & displayed info</mark>

* No badge or mention should be used for provocation, harassment or mockery.
* It is forbidden to impersonate a staff member using elements displayed on the profile.
* Any mention of sensitive personal information is discouraged (to protect your privacy).

## <mark style="color:green;">Part 2: Text Channels</mark>

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article A: Pollution</mark>

* Spam and flooding are prohibited.
* It is forbidden to post links other than the server website, the Discord invite link or the server's social networks.
* Abusively mentioning a role/member is strictly forbidden.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: Conduct</mark>

* You must of course converse respectfully with the server's players.
* In tickets, any insult, provocation, mockery or false accusation may result in sanctions up to permanent Discord ban.
* Politeness is required, especially during dialogues with Staff.
* Saying "Hello" when opening a ticket will make us much more attentive 😉
* Do not request assignment of a moderator role.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Topics</mark>

* Like your profile, your discussions must not reference politics.
* You must not disrespect/insult a player.
* Racism, homophobia, xenophobia and all other forms of hate are prohibited.
* Any form of harassment is forbidden and will result in very severe sanctions.
* No advertising without permission.
* No links to other servers.
* No spam.
* No NSFW content.
* No racism
* No posting of personal information (including real names, addresses, emails, passwords, bank account and credit card information, etc.).
* No sexism
* No harassment.
* No sexually explicit content.
* No pornographic content.
* No illegal content.
* No abusive reactions.
* No abusive emojis.
* No personal attacks.
* No hate speech.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: Emojis, Stickers & GIFs</mark>

The use of emojis, stickers or GIFs must remain respectful and appropriate for all server members.

**Prohibited:**

* Emojis, stickers or GIFs of a sexual, suggestive, fetishistic nature or considered 18+.
* GIFs containing nudity, pornographic, shocking, violent or gory content.
* Using emojis in a sexual context (🍆🍑💦…).
* Animated content or stickers aimed at harassing, humiliating, provoking or ridiculing a member.
* Spam or abuse of emojis/reactions.

**Allowed:**

* Standard emojis used in a normal, humorous or neutral context.
* Classic reaction GIFs without violence or nudity.
* Humorous stickers without sensitive or shocking content.

**Sanctions:**

* Message deletion
* Warning
* Mute or harsher sanction in case of repeat offense

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article E: Conflict Management</mark>

* Conflicts between members must be resolved calmly and in private.
* In case of a problem, open a ticket rather than continue the dispute in the channels.
* Provoking to “get a reaction” from another member is strictly forbidden.
* Indirect insults, insinuations or passive-aggressive behavior are sanctionable.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article F: Use of Tickets</mark>

* Tickets must be opened only for a real problem (no trolling or abuse).
* It is forbidden to ping a staff member to speed up a ticket.
* Any false accusation or attempt to manipulate staff will be severely sanctioned.
* Staff may close a ticket if the player does not respond, trolls, or refuses to cooperate.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article G: Security & Fraud</mark>

* No phishing attempts, fake staff information or false announcements.
* It is forbidden to impersonate an administrator or an official partner.
* External links leading to scams, frauds or dangerous sites result in immediate ban.

## <mark style="color:green;">Part 3: Voice Channels</mark>

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article A: Conduct</mark>

* As in writing, you must remain respectful with other players.
* Discussion topics are free, but we ask you to consider the age of people present in your voice channel.
* If you want to speak privately, limited channels are available.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: Prohibitions</mark>

* Shouting into your mic to annoy your voice partners is prohibited.
* Using a soundboard to annoy your voice partners is prohibited.
* Disclosing personal information in voice is prohibited.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Technical Rules</mark>

* Use a functional microphone and avoid excessive background noise.
* Using voice changers is prohibited if it hinders understanding or is used to troll.
* No broadcasting music without the agreement of everyone in the channel.
* It is forbidden to watch NSFW content in voice, even without sharing the screen.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: Screen Sharing</mark>

* No screen sharing containing NSFW, illegal or pirated content.
* Staff may request to stop sharing if deemed inappropriate.
* Broadcasting films/series protected by copyright is prohibited.

## <mark style="color:green;">✨ Part 4 (NEW): Security & General Behavior</mark>

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article A: Impersonation</mark>

* It is forbidden to take a staff member's username, avatar or style.
* It is forbidden to impersonate a player, streamer or public figure.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: Respect for Staff</mark>

* Staff decisions must be respected.
* Any attempt to pressure staff to influence a decision is prohibited.
* Insulting, ridiculing or harassing staff = immediate sanction.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Inappropriate Behavior</mark>

* No toxic, provocative, petty behavior or behavior intended to create conflicts.
* Deliberate and continuous trolling is punishable.
* No drama intentionally created or fed.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: Account Security</mark>

* Managing the security of your Discord account is your responsibility.
* Any compromised account causing spam/scams may be temporarily banned for the server's safety.

## <mark style="color:green;">**Part 5: Discord Features & Associated Behaviors**</mark>

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article A: Mentions & Notifications</mark>

* It is forbidden to ping a member without a valid reason.
* Abusive pinging or pinging intended to provoke/harass is strictly forbidden.
* The use of `@everyone` and `@here` is reserved for staff only.
* Mentioning a role to attract attention unnecessarily will result in a sanction.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: Reactions & Emojis</mark>

* Reactions must be used normally, not to provoke.
* Reaction spam (even neutral) is prohibited.
* Using emojis to harass, mock or provoke is strictly forbidden.
* Reactions of a sexual, hateful, gory or suggestive nature are prohibited.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Bots & Discord Commands</mark>

* Bot commands must be executed **only** in dedicated channels.
* Spamming commands, flooding, or abusing bots is prohibited.
* Using an external, personal or unauthorized bot is prohibited.
* It is forbidden to use bot commands to circumvent a sanction.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: DMs & Private Behavior</mark>

* Harassment, spam or advertising via private message to a member is strictly prohibited.
* It is forbidden to contact a staff member in DMs to request an advantage, favor or special treatment.
* Disputes in DMs remain sanctionable if they involve server members.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article E: File & Media Sharing</mark>

* No sharing of executable files, unknown archives or suspicious files.
* It is forbidden to send mods, clients or unofficial modified software.
* Sharing NSFW, shocking, gory or illegal files results in immediate sanction.
* Staff may delete any attachment deemed dangerous.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article F: Automatic Channels & Discord Systems</mark>

* It is forbidden to join a voice or text channel with the intent of disturbing others.
* It is forbidden to join/leave channels successively to make notifications pop up.
* Temporary voice channels must be used correctly:
  * No channel created to troll
  * No channel created to bypass a voice sanction
  * No public channel intentionally closed to exclude.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article G: Permissions & Discord Roles</mark>

* It is strictly forbidden to request staff or special roles.
* Any attempt to usurp a role (username, avatar, behavior) is sanctioned.
* Staff may adjust roles and permissions if necessary.

## <mark style="color:green;">Part 6: Sanctions & Disciplinary Procedures</mark>

Server rules must be respected by all members. Any infraction, small or large, may result in a sanction applied by a staff member. Staff decisions are not debatable, except in case of obvious error.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article A: Types of Sanctions</mark>

Sanctions may vary depending on severity, recurrence, intent and general context.

Possible sanctions include:

* **Warning** (oral or written)
* **Message deletion**
* **Temporary mute** (text or voice)
* **Forced disconnection from a voice channel**
* **Temporary restriction of channel(s)**
* **Kick from the server**
* **Temporary or permanent ban**

Depending on severity, staff may directly apply a severe sanction without prior warnings.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: Recurrence and Aggravation</mark>

* In case of recurrence, sanctions will be **automatically harsher**.
* Deliberately provocative or toxic behavior leads to immediate aggravation of sanctions.
* Circumventing a sanction (multi-accounts, VPN, abusive recreation of channels, etc.) will result in a **permanent ban** without discussion.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Respecting Staff Decisions</mark>

* Staff decisions must be respected.
* No pressure, threats, manipulation or attempt to influence a staff member will be tolerated.
* Insulting, provoking or disrespecting staff is considered a serious offense.
* Refusing to cooperate during a ticket or a staff voice request results in sanctions.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: Contesting a Sanction</mark>

* If you think a sanction is unfair, you can explain it **calmly** in a ticket.
* Aggressive requests, provocations or lies will result in a **immediate closure** of the ticket.
* Final decisions belong to the moderation team.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article E: Multi-Accounts & Circumventions</mark>

* Multi-accounts used to troll, circumvent mute/ban or spy will be **all banned**.
* If staff detects a circumvention, the sanction automatically becomes a **non-negotiable permanent ban**.
* Any attempt to rejoin the server with a new account during a ban results in a definitive sanction.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article F: Major Offenses (Immediate sanction)</mark>

The following offenses generally result in an immediate ban, temporary or permanent:

* NSFW, pornographic, gory or 18+ content → **direct ban**
* Harassment, threats, intimidation → **direct ban**
* Racism, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism → **direct ban**
* Scamming, phishing, frauds, malware → **direct ban**
* Publication of personal information (doxxing) → **direct ban**
* Raid, attempted raid or aiding a raid → **direct ban**

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article G: Staff Team Powers</mark>

The moderation team reserves the right to:

* Modify or delete any message deemed inappropriate
* Intervene in voice at any time
* Apply sanctions even if the rule is not explicitly written (according to common sense)
* Protect members if a situation becomes toxic or dangerous
* Make quick decisions to preserve the server's safety

Moderation is done on a **case-by-case basis**, with the aim of ensuring a healthy environment for all.

## <mark style="color:green;">Part 7: Partnerships, External Content & Privacy</mark>

### **Article A: Partnerships**

* For any partnership request, **it is mandatory to open a ticket** and provide all necessary information (server, project, link, objectives, etc.).
* Messages, links or advertisements for other servers or projects are prohibited **outside of a ticket validated by staff**.
* Official partnerships will be announced **only by staff** after validation.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article B: External Content</mark>

* Links sent must be **reliable, safe and not dangerous** for members.
* It is forbidden to share:
  * Viruses, malware, pirated files or cracks
  * NSFW, pornographic, gory or shocking content
  * Illegal content (hack, cheat, cheating)
* Videos, images and media must follow the same rules as messages and text channels.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article C: Privacy</mark>

* Never share **your personal information** (address, number, email, bank account…) in public or private channels.
* Never ask another member for personal information.
* Any sharing of private information without consent is sanctionable and may be reported to authorities if necessary.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article D: Content Related to the Minecraft Server</mark>

* Content related to the server (screenshots, videos, mods, modded clients) must comply with the rules:
  * No hacks, cheats or exploits to deceive other players
  * No distribution of unauthorized files
  * Spoilers about dungeons, bosses or events must be clearly indicated.
* Streams, videos or externally published content must not tarnish the server's image or reveal confidential information.

### <mark style="color:purple;">Article E: Security and Respect Advice</mark>

* Always check the source of a link or file before sharing it.
* Report any suspicious behavior or dangerous content to staff.
* Respecting the privacy and safety of other members is **a permanent obligation**.

## <mark style="color:red;">⚠️ Staff Powers & Authority</mark>

To ensure a secure, pleasant and rule-compliant environment, **the moderation team has specific powers**.\
Any staff intervention must be respected **without public dispute**.

#### 🔹 <mark style="color:orange;">**1. Summons & exchanges**</mark>

* <mark style="color:yellow;">Staff may</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">**ask you to join a voice channel**</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">to clarify a situation.</mark>
* <mark style="color:yellow;">**Refusing a summons without a valid reason**</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">may result in a sanction.</mark>

#### 🔹 <mark style="color:orange;">**2. Message moderation**</mark>

* <mark style="color:yellow;">Staff may</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">**delete, censor or modify**</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">any message not complying with the rules (spam, insults, provocations, prohibited content…).</mark>
* <mark style="color:yellow;">Staff may intervene</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">**even if the exact rule is not listed**</mark><mark style="color:yellow;">, when the behavior disrupts the community.</mark>

#### 🔹 <mark style="color:orange;">3. Management of voice channels</mark>

* <mark style="color:yellow;">Staff may</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">**move, disconnect, mute or deaf**</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">if the situation requires it (nuisance, mic saturated, trolling, disruption, non-compliance with rules…).</mark>
* <mark style="color:yellow;">Poor audio quality, toxic behavior or vocal trolling may justify intervention.</mark>
* <mark style="color:yellow;">Staff may record any voice conversation, screen share or other media, with or without reason.</mark>

#### 🔹 <mark style="color:orange;">4. Identity & presentation</mark>

* <mark style="color:yellow;">Staff may</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">**change your username**</mark> <mark style="color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="color:yellow;">if it is inappropriate, unreadable or contrary to server rules.</mark>
